A workshop to create model landscapes of imagined worlds based on observations of found objects and surfaces using magnifying glasses.
After making simple sketches of surfaces and other visual elements discovered through the magnifying glass after a visit to the school playground, participants began to work on models of an imagined world for a scale model of a human figure. The workshop concluded with an explanation from each participant of the world they had created while a compact overhead projector was used as a video camera to explore the landscape from the perspective of the model human figure.
